The Tricolore Bottle

Italian inspiration, expressed in form.

A continuous outline. Green, white and red. A final touch of gold. The Marco Philip Milano bottle brings these elements together in an object made to be seen, held and remembered.

A designer's wooden desk with pencil sketches of rounded bottle contours and gold cap studies, the names Vincitori, Casuale, Possibile and Bella Giornata written by hand, and green, white and red colour swatches.
A conceptual study of form, colour and detail.

The Idea

From an idea to a recognisable form.

The design brings together three gestures: a contour that flows around the bottle, colours that express an affinity with Italy, and gold details that complete the composition. Each contributes to the identity of the object.

01 / Form

A contour that keeps moving.

Rounded corners soften the rectangular silhouette. Trace the edge with a fingertip and the movement continues around the form, passing from one surface to the next. This sense of continuity is central to the bottle’s character.

02 / Colour

Three colours. A clear connection.

Green, white and red bring the Italian tricolour into the bottle’s design. The white front gives the fragrance name its space, while the coloured sides reveal another part of the composition as the bottle turns.

03 / Detail

A final touch of gold.

The gold finish adds warmth to the tricolour. It connects the cylindrical cap with the lettering and emblem on the bottle, giving the composition a shared visual thread. On the top of the cap, the crowned MPM crest completes the design.
